The Picture above shows one of our Pro Series Steam Injection Boilers (left) with one of our Pro Series Combination Mash Tun Stripping Stills (right). The Steam Injection Boiler injects sanitary steam directly into the Mash Tun Stripping Still for cooking mash and then later for doing the stripping run. The 150 gallon Steam Injection Boiler above produces 337 lbs of sanitary steam per hour. The system above reaches operating temperature for stripping in less than 2 hours. The injection boiler above also heats water for mashing. The high temperature centrifugal pump in the picture is used for pumping hot water from the steam injection boiler to the Mash Tun Stripping Still, or any other place in the distillery were hot water is needed. All of our steam injection boilers operate as open systems. Even though our steam injection boilers are priced at a fraction of the cost of a low pressure steam boiler, in my opinion, a low pressure steam boiler is always the better choice when comparing them to our steam injection boilers. Our steam injection boilers have advantages and disadvantages when compared to Low Pressure Steam Boilers. Advantages of our Steam Injection Boilers when compared to Low Pressure Steam Boilers:
