This Mash Tun (Mash Cooker) is made from a heavy duty 16 gauge 100 gallon used stainless steel food grade barrel. The barrel was used for syrup. It has been tested and is solid and water tight, however it may have scratches and small dings. Made with pride in the USA. This very versatile Mash Tun can be direct fired by propane or natural gas for mashing Corn or Rye or it can be used with a hot water heater or one of our HLTs for mashing and sparging Barley for single Malt Whiskey. It can even be used for making beer. All of the fittings are Tri-Clamp fittings. If you have ever used Tri-clamp fittings you know how fast, convenient and reliable they are. If you are going to sparge you will need to purchase the optional sparging arm and spay ball. Standard:
